I know it's early and I know everybody is really busy. So many, many thanks for being here. This is important opportunity for us. This is the first time in five years that we've been able to have an exchange with Vina del Mar because of COVID and some of the other challenges that we have. A real brief summary of what we're doing this week. The theme is Sausalito Renaissance, navigating the pandemic. And so many of the presentations and the discussions we're having are how we moved our way through some of the COVID issues within the city and how much the community rallied around and helped everyone. So I think we've come out to the other end. We've got still some challenges, but we want to share with our friends what we have done. The second component is we're really excited to have reached into Vigne de Mar a little further and are inviting our bomberos, firefighters, to join our Southern Marin Fire Department for best practices exchange. As you know, our cities and our geography is pretty much the same with earthquakes, fires, sea level rise, and a lot of disaster information. So I think they are here to share a little bit of their current experience. And I'd just like Ximena to come up real quickly. |
